We’ve all had a sip of someone’s wretched smoothie concoction and it usually tastes like ground-up celery, manure, and Ghostbusters slime. It tends to turn you green … in a bad way. But I can I assure you that’s not what I am drinking anymore, at least not after learning what it takes to make green juice delicious.
To help you speed up the learning process and get to the tasty green drink zone faster, here’s a quick and easy recipe that will leave you fully nourished with a smile on your face because it tastes awesome!
A handful of kale
A little less than a handful of spinach
A couple stalks of celery
½ a cucumber
½ a cup of parsley
Juice from ½ a lemon
This concoction is best made with a juicer, but a strong blender will do. If the taste is not to your liking, add some coconut water or a pear or a swig of agave or honey.
If enjoying in public…at work… on the train… you may want to conceal this concoction in a travel mug if you don’t want the stares.
