The New Rosenblum Cellars Tasting Room

Rosenblum Cellars just moved from their home of 25 years in Alameda to Jack London Square in Oakland. I visited the new tasting room this weekend.  It’s sad to think of the old location being gone forever but the new spot was glorious with wonderful bay views and a nice outside seating area. One definite improvement is the tasting room is directly off the Oakland ferry terminal. That means people visiting don’t have to drive, they can simply take a ferry over and back. This means guilt free tastings.

The view is great! I imagine it would be 10x better at sunset. Yet, I don’t think they are open that late.

The tasting room is smaller than the old location, but there really is no replacing the views. I prefer the quaint feel of a smaller setting.

Not only is the wine great at Rosenblum, the service is stellar. Below is my favorite wine pusher, Kenny G! He has been a staple with the company for many many years and it’s always a treat to chat.
Don’t waste another weekend minute. Get out and enjoy the sun and a glass of the good stuff. My favorite is the 2010 Paso Robles Zinfandel.
Have you heard of Rosenblum Cellars? What’s your favorite wine?
