East Bay Mini Maker Faire!!

We’ve all heard of Maker Faire by now, right? Did you know that Oakland hosts a small version of one? The East Bay Mini Maker is hosted at Park Day School and is great smaller alternative to the large Maker Faire earlier in the year in San Mateo.

This is an event you don’t want to miss, and it’s great for the whole family. I went last year and was blown away by the local feel of this Mini Maker Faire. They have everything from crafts, to robotics, making, and beyond.
Last year, Sheet Metal Alchemist brought their “High Striker” for folks to test their strength. This high striker was a little different though.
The Faire has so many things to ooh and awe at. It’s hard to fit it in all in one day.
Grab the kiddies and enjoy a Autumn Sunday full of learning and making.
I can’t wait to be inspired to come up with more fun and creative Off Your Plate projects.
October 19th @ The Park Day School is Oakland
