Wine Tasting – Bay Area

The Bay Area is a treasure trove of good food and wine. We are beyond lucky to be where we are and I wonder if we actually appreciate it and go out and enjoy it? Here are some of my favorites locally – and when I say local, I mean in S.F. or the East Bay.

1. Dashe Cellars

Situated in Oakland and open for tasting Thursday – Sunday. Their service and wine is delicious!

2. Bluxome Street Winery

A surprising gem in SOMA, Bluxome Street Winery is a hip retreat of tasty pleasure. The tasting room is only open on certain days, it’s best to check their website before going. Their street festival is coming up soon , they  also rent out their space for large events. The more you knowwwww..

3. The Winery SF

These guys are actually located on Treasure Island in an old warehouse. For as big as the venue is the service is sweet and down to earth. This is a great weekend tasting excursion spot.

4. Urban Legend Cellars

Close to Jack London Square and in the middle of many other Oakland wineries, Urban Legends is a great stop on your vino journey through the bay. You can’t miss their iconic label.

5. Rock Wall Wine Company

In Alameda with glorious views and super yummy wine. I love that several spirit companies have moved to the old military base in Alameda. Nothing can beat this view! The tasting room is open daily and offers a happy hour and food.

No Excuses! Get out there and enjoy some wine and relax – you deserve it.
