Maker Camp is a camp for kids who like to “make”. There are tons of STEM/STEAM programs out there, and we’ve mentioned a few around the Bay here. Maker Camp is a world wide camp that is free for anyone to join in.  The basis of the camp is mostly online through Google Hangouts, however, folks host local chapters where kids can participate with other kids doing the camp. The video below shows one host programs journey.

During the 6 week program – kids will work on a variety of themed projects revolving around, science, math, engineering, robotics, art and creativity. They also go on virtual field trips to NASA and many other hot spot destinations.
